Minutes of a Planning Committee meeting held on Monday 17th March 2002 at 8.15 p.m. in the Cricket Clubhouse

Present: Cllr. E J Derrick (Chairman)

Cllrs. J S Bolwell, F J Day, M J Gregory and N W McInnes. Also present: Cllr. Mrs. E V Latchem.

An apology was received from Cllr. Jovcic-Sas.

 

 
  1. Minutes of a meeting of the Planning Committee held on 10th February 2003

    2. These minutes, which had been previously circulated, were taken as read agreed a true record and signed by the Chairman.

  2. Matters arising from the minutes of 10th February 2003

    3. Tree Preservation Order, Ashgrove Motors Site, Bath Road.

    The Clerk has received notification from B&NES that the Order has been made permanent and any further objections would have to be taken through the High Court. Noted with no objections.

  3. New Applications

    4. Four applications were considered and comments agreed upon as printed in the Planning Register.

  4. Planning decisions made by B&NES

    5. Four were received and noted.

  5. Planning Appeal

A copy of the Inspector's report was received, which has agreed with B&NES that a bungalow should not be built next to Prospect House, Lower Peasedown. Noted with disappointment. A letter from the applicants thanked the work done by the Clerk and Council on their behalf.
