AGENDA

Public Session - 10 minutes when the public may express a view or ask a question on relevant matters on the following agenda. Members of the Public are welcome to stay and observe the rest of the meeting.

  1. To receive apologies for absence
  2. Minutes of an Environment Committee meeting held on 2nd September 2002 - to agree a true record and sign (previously circulated)
  3. To welcome Mr. Andy Chard and discuss possible dual-funded floral displays, tubs and beds for 2003/2004. Mr. Chard is also hoping to report on his findings following the Beacon Field open morning
  4. Any matters arising from the minutes of 2nd September 2002
  5. a). Norton Radstock Town Council. Community Wardens and Mobile CCTV Systems

  7. a). B&NES. Provision of Grit Bins. This letter was summarised at the Council meeting held on 23rd September when members were asked to investigate new sites for reporting to this meeting

    b). Sara Bevan, Faulkland View. Pedestrian refuge in Orchard Way

    c). Mr. A Hastings, Morgan Way. Tree planting on open space opposite Nos. 24 – 26 Morgan Way.

    d). CPRE Avonside Branch. Branch AGM Day 9th November 2002. Almondsbury Parish Hall

  8. To receive an update on the progress of the works on the new POS
  9. To consider the erection of footpath signs – Cllr. Mrs. K Thomas to report on her research regarding the design and positions.
  10. To consider this Council’s "3-bids" for the year 2003/2004
  11. To carry out a review of the Action Plans and suggest capital projects for 2003/2004, which the Clerk can investigate and cost ready for the estimate meetings to be held in December.
