  3. a). B&NES. Best Value Inspection - this Council has been invited to send delegates to a session with the Inspector to be held at 6.30 p.m. on 12th January 2004

    b). B&NES. Training on Planning Issues - in June/July 2004 there is likely to be new legislation, which will result in fundamental changes to the current planning system. Training sessions for the existing parish clusters are planned for the spring - dates to follow

    d). B&NES. Notice of Planning Appeal. 70, Ashgrove

    e). B&NES. Proposed road humps in Laxton Way - consultation

B&NES. Relationship with voluntary bodies etc - to further consider the consultation report

    b). B&NES. Parish Council Consultation re Affordable Homes Policy. Comments before 15th January 2004 when a public meeting will be held in Midsomer Norton. Chairman to report

  3. Village Traffic Calming - Chairman to report on the results of the questionnaire
  4. Keyhole stile in Footpath BA 19/34 opposite the Co-op stores in Bath Road - at the last meeting of this Committee a member of the public raised its poor state of repair
  5. Action Plan. To consider projects which this committee may wish to put into the Action Plan for 2004/2005 (draft copy enclosed), to consider revenue for planting and grass cutting (it is hoped that further prices for work on Ecewiche Green will be available at the meeting)
  6. To consider a bid to the Finance Committee for funding this committee in the year 2004/2005

  5. a). Inland Revenue. Letter explaining that this Council will be expected to carry out all its business with IR on line starting with the year 2009/2010.

    b). Section 137 payments. To note that the payment limit has now been linked to the inflation rate, which means that the limit for 2004/2005 has been raised 2.7% to £5.14 per elector i.e. for this parish £23,525

    c). B&NES Resources Planning. Precept Requirement Form to be back before 16th February 2004

  6. To receive the Accounts Summary, Cash Flow Statements and Bank reconciliation for 30th November 2003 (previously circulated) and 31st December 2003 (to be tabled if information is available)
  7. To consider estimates to fund the democratic services of the Council
  8. To consider bids for funding from the spending committees for the year 2004/2005 (detailed copy of estimates from committees enclosed)
  9. To consider and set the level of precept for the year 2004/2005 to be put to the Council meeting on 26th January 2004
