  1. To receive any apologies for absence
  2. Minutes of the Planning Committee held on 1st July 2002 - to agree a true record and sign (previously circulated)
  3. Any matters arising from the minutes of 1st July 2002
  4. To consider and make comments upon new applications as detailed in the Planning Register (enclosed)
  5. To receive a report on the progress of the new POS adjacent to the bypass
  6. To note planning decisions made by B&NES.

  2. Minutes of a meeting of the Finance Committee held on 15th July 2002 – to agree a true record and sign (previously circulated)
  3. Any matters arising from the minutes of 15th July 2002
  4. To receive the Accounts Summary, Cash Flow Statement and Bank reconciliation for 30th September 2002 (enclosed)
  5. To consider a grant request from Gemma Burgess (this request has been referred from the Council meeting held on 23rd September 2002)
  6. The Accounts and Audit Regulations 2003 are out for a period of consultation – our comments are required. One copy has been printed from the web for your Chairman who will report on the document
  7. To consider a request from the Chairman of the Recreation Field Committee for contingency money to pay for repairs caused by vandals to the Play Area fencing. (The Clerk has re-affirmed that the Council’s Insurers will not cover any vandalism to gates and fences around the Play Areas – the repair will cost £1,225)
  8. To note that the proposed wage settlement for Clerks has been received from NALC and SLCC, it involves an agreement to cover two years. To also note that the National Minimum Wage has risen to £4.20 per hour wef 1st October 2002. The RFO will report on the financial implications for this year.
