7 p.m. Personnel Committee

Public Session - 10 minutes when the public may express a view or ask a question on relevant matters on the following agenda. Members of the Public are welcome to stay and observe the rest of the meeting, although the meeting may decide to ask press and public to leave during Item 4, in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960, due to the confidential nature of the business.

  1. To receive any apologies for absence
  2. Minutes of Personnel Committee meetings held on 21st February and 7th March 2005 - to agree a true record and sign
  3. Any matters arising from the minutes of 21st February and 7th March 2005
  4. To consider, agree with the two employees and prepare for submission to the Council meeting to be held on 23rd May 2005, the Contracts of Employment for the Clerk and Assistant Clerk (draft previously circulated to Personnel Committee members)
  5. To consider paying the membership fee for Mrs. Hartley to join the SLCC. A great deal of free training and networking is arranged by the SLCC
  6. To consider paying the Assistant Clerk extra hours when attending evening and week-end training courses
  7. Any other business, being an exchange of information for noting or placing on a future agenda.

  6. To consider the content of the June 2005 Newsletter.
