7 p.m. Lighting Committee

  1. To receive any apologies for absence
  2. Minutes of a Lighting Committee meeting held on Monday 18th December 2000 – to agree a true record and sign (previously circulated)
  3. Any matters arising from the minutes of 18th December 2000
  4. a). To consider any essential additions to the lighting stock which could be installed this financial year (please refer to the Internal Audit for 30th November) and
  5. b). to prioritise desirable projects for a possible capital funding in 2002/2003 and beyond

  6. To agree the revenue and capital funding required making up a bid to the Finance Committee for inclusion in the 2002/2003 Precept. (the Clerk will table revenue figures for maintenance and power for existing lamps)

8.30 p.m. Personnel Committee

Public Session – 10 minutes when the public may ask questions of the committee, although if specific employees and their contracts or salaries are to be discussed in Items 4, 5 and 6 a resolution may be passed to close the meeting to Press and Public under the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960

  1. To receive apologies for absence
  2. Minutes of a meeting of the Personnel Committee held on 10th September 2001 – to agree a true record and sign (previously circulated)
  3. Any matters arising from the minutes of the meeting held on 10th September 2001
  4. To consider again a new Clerk’s Contract. Following the last meeting the Clerk has typed up the Model Contract to include specific clauses suitable for this Council (enclosed)
  5. To receive a verbal report from the Clerk concerning the staffing of the Cemetery Toilet
  6. To receive report from the Clerk concerning estimated salary requirements for the year 2002/2003 (enclosed). The Burial Committee has asked that this Committee allot monies to fund a caretaker to be used at the Cemetery Toilet. To agree a bid to the Finance Committee for the funding of all staff for inclusion in the 2002/2003 Precept.
