- Any matters arising from the minutes of 10th July 2000
- To consider revenue estimates and capital projects for the year 2001/2002. To agree a bid to the Finance Committee for funds in the 2001/2002 Precept (report enclosed).

- Minutes of a Lighting Committee meeting held on Monday 17th July 2000 to agree a true record and sign (previously circulated)
- To receive any apologies for absence
- Any matters arising from the minutes of 17th July 2000
- To receive a report on the tour of the parish lighting and
a). to consider any essential additions to the lighting stock which could be installed this financial year if funds can be found or vired also
b). to prioritise desirable projects for a possible capital funding in 2001/2002 and beyond
- To agree the revenue and capital funding required making up a bid to the Finance Committee for inclusion in the 2001/2002 Precept (report enclosed).

Personnel Committee
Public Session 10 minutes when the public may ask questions of the committee, although if specific employees and their contracts or salaries are to be discussed in Item 4, a resolution may be passed to close the meeting to Press and Public under the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960

- To receive apologies for absence
- Any matters arising from the minutes of the meeting held on 9th October 2000
- To make deliberations on matters concerning the Clerks Contract, which were referred to other committees for their observations and have now been commented upon by those committees. Endorsement and further comments were also agreed at the Council meeting held on 27th November 2000
a). Payment for supervising staff
b). Incorporation of Magazine hours into the general salary.
- To receive a verbal report from Cllr. McInnes on a meeting with members of the Town Council of Norton Radstock concerning the Play Area Caretaker and a report from the Parish Clerk on his subsequent meeting with the Town Clerk
- To consider report from NALC concerning insurance cover for assault on employees (copy enclosed)
- To receive reports from the Clerk concerning estimated salary level and gratuity fund top-up for the year 2001/2002 (reports enclosed). To agree a bid to the Finance Committee for the funding of the Clerk for inclusion in the 2001/2002 Precept.
