Public Session – 15 minutes when the public may express a view or ask a question on relevant matters on the following agenda. Members of the Public are welcome to stay and observe the rest of the meeting.

1. To receive any apologies and reason for absence
2. Members’ Interests. Members are reminded of their obligation to declare any interest they may have in any issue arising at this meeting which might conflict with the business of the Council
3. Minutes of a Council meeting held on 21^st January 2002 – to agree a true record and sign (previously circulated)

a). ALCA. Invitation to renew membership

b). Local Council Review. Invitation to renew subscription

6. To formally accept the new Code of Conduct proposed by the Monitoring Officer of B&NES without alteration, with effect from 1^st April 2002. To ask all members to sign their acceptance within two months and to file their list of interests within 28 days from 1^st April 2002 (copy of the code enclosed)

Cllr. McInnes to move that: this Council adopts the Ethical Framework covering General Principles of Conduct contained in Part III of the Local Government Act 2000 without alteration and effective from 1^st April 2002.
