Public Session – 15 minutes when the public may express a view or ask a question on relevant matters on the following agenda. Members of the public are welcome to stay and observe the rest of the meeting.

  1. To receive and accept any apologies for absence
  2. Members’ Interests. Members are reminded of their obligation to declare any interest they may have in any issue arising at this meeting which might conflict with the business of the Council
  3. Minutes of a Annual Meeting of the Council held on 23rd May 2005 – to agree a true record and sign (previously circulated)
  4. Any matters arising from the minutes of 23rd May 2005 being an exchange of information only
  5. Accounts
  6. a). Annual Audit

    Motion to be put by Cllr. Mrs. Butt.

    The Finance Committee is recommending that Council agree:

    a). To note that the date of Audit is 15th August 2005 and that the public notice of that fact was posted in all three Notice Boards on 4th July thus giving the statutory period required for the public inspection of documents at the parish office.

    b). that Section 1 of the Annual Return prepared by the RFO be agreed and signed

    c). that Section 4 of the Annual Return prepared by the Internal Auditor is endorsed.

    d). that all questions in Section 2 of the Annual Return can be answered in the affirmative, therefore it should be agreed by Council and signed by the Chairman of Council and the Clerk

    b). To agree Payment of Accounts (to be tabled)

    On a recommendation from the Internal Auditor both 6(a) and (b) will be subject to a recorded vote

  7. To receive the minutes of Planning Committee meetings held on 6th June and 4th July 2005 (previously circulated)
  8. To receive the minutes of a 50th Birthday Committee meeting held on 18th July 2005 (to follow)
  9. To receive the minutes of an Environment Committee meeting held on 27th June 2005 (previously circulated)
  10. To receive the minutes of an Amenities Committee meeting held on 27th June 2005 (previously circulated)
  11. To receive the minutes of a Finance Committee meeting held on 4th July 2005 (previously circulated)
  12. To receive the minutes of a Policy and General Purposes Committee meeting held on 6th June 2005 (previously circulated)
