  16. Freedom of Information Act 2000. To consider the contents of a Publication Scheme for endorsement by the Information Commissioner - a Scheme has to be deposited by 31st December 2002 (report by the Clerk enclosed)
  17. Clerk's Training. To enable the Clerk (and future Clerks) to obtain a "Certificate of Local Council Administration" from the Assessment and Qualifications Alliance he has been advised by NALC and SLCC to acquire a publication jointly sponsored by NALC, SLCC and the Countryside Agency called "Working with your Council". The publication lays out the qualifying factors together with training aids, which will help Clerks to obtain the certification mentioned above. The Certificate is the minimum qualification required by Clerks to allow a Council to apply for Quality Council status. This loose-leaf publication is an ongoing training aid, will be updated regularly and costs £130
