7 p.m. Planning Committee

Public Session - 10 minutes when the public may express a view or ask a question on relevant matters on the following agenda. Members of the Public are welcome to stay and observe the rest of the meeting.

  1. To receive any apologies for absence
  2. Minutes of the Planning Committee held on 14th October 2002 - to agree a true record and sign (previously circulated)
  3. Any matters arising from the minutes of 14th October 2002
  4. To welcome Mr. Michael Gould, the applicant for the proposed development at the Ashgrove Motors site in Bath Road. Mr. Gould has agreed to discuss the plan in detail before this committee is required to make its formal comments to B&NES Council
  5. To consider and make comments upon new applications as detailed in the Planning Register (enclosed)
  6. To receive a report on the progress of the new POS adjacent to the bypass. A complaint has been received from a resident of Morgan Way who is concerned by the fact that children are breaking down an existing fence in the area
  7. To note planning decisions made by B&NES
  8. To consider comments on B&NES Council’s "Enforcement Policy and Performance Standards". Comments are required on this lengthy document by 29th November 2002
  9. To note that this Council has now received one copy of the Joint Replacement Structure Plan for the old Avon area.
