The clerk met with Peter Rowe of Broadleaf and he agreed to lay 50m of hedge at the POS before end March leaving four trees standing. There will be an extra £50.00 added to the original quote as a year has passed since it was received.
POS plinth and artwork for information plaque - the clerk and Cllr Mrs K Thomas are to liase with Camerton conservation society to determine flora and fauna likely to be seen at site before commissioning the artwork. A sum of £3500 was agreed to fund this project.
Quarterly B & NES report on the children's play area was shown to the committee. They had found nothing intrinsically wrong with any of the equipment but the council has decided to ask Mr C Champion to assess any work that needs to be done.
The following were included in this category - Training for present caretaking staff on any new equipment purchased (hedge trimmer & sucker/ blower)
Signage for footpaths and dog fouling.
Extra Dog Bins
The final figure reached to take to finance was £20481.00. This figure includes to upkeep to properties owned by the parish council throughout the year as well as some street lighting.
There was a discussion regarding the fact that one church in the village has the churchyard cared for by the Parish Council whilst other churches receive no monies.
Health and Safely issues were discussed and it was decided that there should be an officer to cover this area as there are three staff working with various equipment in the village. Maybe the clerk should be involved as she is the line manager for these staff.
As the lights have been out in Carlingcott for some time it was felt that a rebate should be given - Clerk to follow up.

There is a CSAG meeting on 24 January 2006
Monies are now available for a BMX track - no land available at present.
It was also suggested that maybe we could contact the Probation service and see whether it would be possible to have them in the village to work
