ALCA have not yet contacted the office regarding this issue.
£5m for day to day usage. Anyone else using the ground has to have their own insurance.
The pruning of the beech tree in the cemetery had also not been budgeted for causing an overspend of 0.62%.
Amenities-contingencies has an overspend of 148.82% and this is due to the removal of the seat at Bath Road, the cleaning of the beacon and the planning application fee for the change of use from agricultural to allotments.
It was decided that to ask the Amenities Committee to determine whether the bus shelters will need to be cleaned by the parish council as B&NES may take forward the improvements to the A361 route.
The committee also felt that the part time caretakers should receive a formal letter regarding health and safety protective clothing. This has been/will be supplied by the council and must be used.
It was felt that NESA needs to fulfil documentary evidence of activities within Peasedown St John before extra monies may be made available. The committee would like Andrew Henon to come to a meeting and give a report if possible.
Regarding Ring and Ride it was decided to award another £400.00 from contingencies, and to include another donation in the budget for coming years.
The committee felt that the Environment Committee should consider value for money on the floral displays – having the right plants for the existing planters taking into consideration that there is no facility to water the planters within the village.
To discuss the matter of the Football club lease with some urgency
