Minutes of a Lighting Committee meeting held on Monday 8th November 2004 at 8.25 p.m. in the Cricket Clubhouse

Present: Cllr. M J Gregory (Chairman)

Cllrs. J S Bolwell, E J Derrick and A A Spiller.

Mr. Peter Provest, the Internal Auditor.

Apologies were received from Cllrs. Mrs Lewis-Mason and Mrs. Thomas

There were no questions or comments.

  1. Minutes of a Lighting Committee meeting held on 25th October 2004

    2. These minutes, which had been previously circulated were taken as read, agreed a true record and signed by the Chairman. There were no matters arising.

  2. Lighting Tour 1st November 2004

    3. The Chairman was not able to take the tour so it was cancelled. It was agreed to re-schedule it for Monday 22nd November at 6 p.m. Meeting at the Cricket Club Car Park.

  3. Action Plan 2005/2006

    4. The Plan, which was updated at the last meeting, was endorsed and adopted as the prioritised schedule for next year, and further years.

  4. Funding requirements for the year 2005/2006

Clerk had estimated the sums required for next year to cover power and maintenance. He was not able to estimate accurately the possible rises from SWEB and SEC as their bills had not risen for several years. An extra sum was added for repairs and new lighting. The final estimate was the same as this year.

It was agreed that the Finance Committee is asked for £9,000 to fund the activities of the Lighting Committee in the year 2005/2006.
