There were no comments or questions.
These minutes, which had been previously circulated, were taken as read agreed a true record and signed by the Chairman. There were no matters arising.
Members were pleased with the distribution done by the Scouts and agreed that an audit would not be done this time. The Clerk will report two very minor problems to the Scouts.
Chairman reminded members that this issue would be delivered one week earlier than usual to catch the Easter Church programmes. It would therefore not carry news of the impending Parish Meeting and Council Meeting.
Due to the lively meeting held last Monday to discuss the traffic calming, the Clerk had taken many photographs of the various calming elements. One was chosen to feature on the front cover.
The Parish Council News on the back cover was thought to be a bit "wordy" and the Clerk was asked to re-design it to give it more display using borders and bold headings.
Members were not happy that the Clerk had taken news from Shoscombe School. He was asked to remove it and explain to the Headteacher that the Council is not able to publish news from other parishes.
Chairman reported that the web site now has a coloured coat of arms following her scanning of the Chairman's Jewel artwork- a scan of the mono version has been sent to the Clerk for his use on the Annual Report etc.
The future of the web site was not discussed as it was assumed that its take-over or otherwise was to be debated at the Council meeting to be held on 29th March 2004.
