There were no questions or comments.

1. Minutes of a Personnel Committee meeting held on 17th January 2005

These minutes, which had been previously circulated, were taken as read. There was one amendment - in Item 2(e) "When trained and" should be deleted from the second sentence. After amendment the minutes were agreed a true record and signed by the Chairman. There were no matters arising.

2. To consider the selection process for the post of Assistant Clerk

The Clerk reported that he had sent out eight application packs and three had been returned showing an interest in the post. The three application forms had been copied and tabled for members only.

Members agreed that all applicants should be interviewed on the date published in the press advert and that references should be sought from the names given.

The applicants would be interviewed in alphabetical order, given one half hour each starting at 7.30 p.m. The order would therefore be Mrs. Hartley, Mrs. Hopkins then Mr. Weeks.

It was finally agreed to meet in the Cricket Clubhouse at 7 p.m. on Monday 7^th March when members will have half an hour to decide on a programme of relevant questions based around the agreed person specification.

Clerk to arrange for the applicants to be summoned and referees contacted.
