Minutes of a Planning Committee meeting held on Monday 4th July 2005 at 7 p.m. in the Cricket Clubhouse

There were no questions or comments.
These minutes, which had been previously circulated were taken as read, agreed a true record and signed by the Chairman.
Laxton Way/Fairfield Terrace path
Clerk reported on a telephone call received today from John Dando, the B&NES Planning Enforcement Officer. He reported that the problem, over the years, has solved itself as residents have filled the hole in the hedge and the path is now very overgrown. Noted.
Four applications were considered and all given a no objections label as recorded in the Planning Register.
Three refusals and four permits were studied - all in line with this Council's views.
It was agreed that the Chairman and Clerk comment on applications during the August Recess.
Clerk reported e-mail informing this Council that Paul Wilkins, Senior Arboricultural Officer at B&NES, will hold a workshop on the new high hedges legislation in the Guildhall Council Chamber on 26th July at 2 p.m.
Cllrs. C Rich and Derrick will attend. Clerk to inform Mr. Wilkins.
