Public Session - there were no questions or comments.
These minutes, which had been previously circulated were taken as read, agreed a true record and signed by the Chairman.
a). Planning Application 11/05
Clerk had reviewed this application which had been turned down by B&NES and reported that, on closer look, he had found there was a case of overlooking. Noted.
b). BT poles in Hillcrest
The Clerk has written again and another letter has been received from another officer working for BT. Chapter and verse was again quoted without a direct answer being given to the Clerk's three questions. It was agreed that the Clerk should write again and ask just one question, which hopefully this time cannot be illuminated with jargon. The question is to be "why was the existing underground trunking not used?" The Clerk was also asked to enquire if a local engineer could meet on the site.
a). B&NES. Camerton Road Width Limit experiment.
E-mail confirming that the experiment will commence this week.
b). The Planning Inspectorate. Appeal Zebedees Day Nursery
A copy of the Inspectors report was received. It supports the B&NES decision to refuse for overlooking reasons. Noted.
c). Cllr. Rosemary Todd
Letter congratulating Parish Councils on their co-operation with the planning office, which has resulted in the office making its targets and qualifying for the grant from central government. Noted.
Seven were considered and comments are recorded in the Planning Register.
Five were reviewed and all were reasonably in accord with this Council's policies.
Meeting closed at 8 p.m.
