This Council realises that the decision is a legal one but would respectfully point out that this Council did question the fact that this condition had not been carried out when the same condition was put on the development in Sunset Close, which is next door. We are surprised that Wansdyke and B&NES did not pursue this Council’s question at that time. Two letters also sent.

No objections to the outline plan but would ask that the developer’s agent contact this Council at the time of the detailed plans being deposited.

Support provided that:

  1. hours of external work is confined to 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mon-Fri and 8 a.m. to noon on Sats with no Sunday work;
  2. noise levels be kept down to 60 dB;
  3. no materials to be stored on public path or highway;
  4. all building materials and discarded waste to be removed from site within one month of extension being occupied and
  5. no trees or shrubs to be cut down or removed other than for replanting.

Support with conditions as printed for 27/00 above.

This Council objects to this development as it is on the north side of the village where the local plan says that development should be discouraged. Also the access is poor as it comes out onto a bend.

No objections if accompanied by our usual informative notes.

This Council requires more information on numbers applied for. Any scheme for housing would conflict with Policy B.7.1 of the Peasedown St John Supplementary Planning Guidance. The applicant should be encouraged to meet with the PC.

No objections - please add our information note.

No objections - please add our information note.

This Council agrees with the objections put forward by Camerton PC in that we feel that the traffic problems have been greater than envisaged and would like to see activity ceased.

No objections - the traffic-calming table is welcomed.

This Council objects to this scheme because it is not aimed at any specific leisure interests. We would like to go back to the previous idea incorporating paths (accessible for wheelchairs), seats and a picnic area with a good view of the open countryside. Comprehensive plans are needed concerning the provision of gates and/or barriers to prevent the area's use by scramble motor bikes.
