This service offers training and information about the rights of young people both in society and in their community and gives them the skills and confidence to have their voices heard in various arenas.
Peasedown U-15s football -
This started on Sunday afternoons at the youth centre, but due to the numbers of young people taking part it has been moved to the Cricket Club. The group will be using the indoor courts at the Youth Centre for training later in the year.
All the young people who attend the Youth Centre are involved with developing the programme of activities taking place at the centre. Young people will have their learning accredited via a number of schemes. These include ‘Young B&nes Award’ and ‘Duke of Edinburgh’ scheme, as well as certificates that we ourselves issue at the Centre.
We have been open on the occasional Saturday morning for a variety of sessions, and this is an area of work that it is hoped we will be able to develop in the future.
